This was for school?

It probably didn't do your grade any good to ask questions about the number of "openings" Swedish girls have, or to have a category devoted to the sexuality of goats. Makes me think this wasn't really for school. The Flash wasn't too bad. The graphics could use some work, but you at least tried to put some variety of content in there. The grammar could have used a bit of work. I know some of the mis-spelling were there on purpose... but reading some of the answers made me wonder if the guy you mentioned and thanked in the credits was your English coach.

Very linear, totally unsophisticated... and short.

My guess is that the entire "game" was mostly a movie, or series of movies. It can't have required too much coding. Not that that is so terrible, if you pull it off. But, in my opinion, you didn't. One of the most annoying things about today's games is the whole DDR jock-riding, push-a-button-to-survive crap. Its a cop-out way to get more complicated reactions from the in-game character without actually having to support or code the actual ability to perform the activity being represented. For instance, jumping out of the way of projectiles using fancy jumps and ducks becomes a click or press of a button, rather than having to have any actual skill to pull off the move. And then, if you do pull off the "move" by pressing the all-powerful button, you get to watch a little movie of the character doing something cooler than you are able to do with his sorry ass using the game-controls. Which is actually quite boring for the most part. Oh, and as for bugs... I was able to pick up the toothpick and the quarter 3 or 4 times... and probably could have visited the table more times, but I decided to move on to see what else the game had to offer. Then things got wierd... I fought a demon in some room using the toothpick for apparently no reason, and then I saw a chick with a penis. If it was humorous in any way it was lost on me.

What was that? Make more games like this? OK!

Graphics were really great...

Anyone could tell that a lot of time had been put into those backgrounds and into the ships themselves. However, the movement of the ships really detracted from the beauty of the surrounding graphical elements. I know it was a 2D shooter, but the animation of the aircrafts involved was just TOO 2D. No wing-titling when rising or falling, just angling the movie-clip up or down at the nose. The animation seemed like it was almost settled for even though the graphics were outstanding. And, unfortunately, as good as the graphics are, I don't know if they really make this a "good" game. This could officially be the 1 millionth time that this type of game has been done... and I honestly didn't see too many things that make this stand out.

Cool concept...

It just needs a graphics upgrade, and some enemies that do more than just follow you around at different speeds. Maybe some different patterns of movement from the enemies, or have them attempt to get out of bomb range once they get a certain distance from the center of an explosion. As it was, it was pretty easy to just keep moving your mouse in a circle, while they all bunched up in the center of it...

Is using the "Print Screen" button cheating?

NOt a bad concept... but not taken to its fullest potential. Add the fact that it is really easy to cheat on a computer and its not the greatest.

Tovi-Noname responds:

Hmm. You have a point there, it is a bit too easy to cheat, and it could go further than what it is. Maybe I'll make a second one with more interactivity. I'm not sure who would really want to waste their time on the game if they're just going to cheat their way through it, though...

Not too bad...

I only saw it through to the puzzle with the 2 rows of arrows. Couldn't get it, the hint didn't help, and I frankly didn't care much about continuing at that point. Fairly clever puzzles. Just seems a little odd that you would have to use other programs to get some of them. Like the "COR" password screen.

This is the main goal of this game,OK?

Seriously buggy...

I started on "Easy", got killed. Then clicked "legendary", and it seemed no more difficult than Easy... once I died I clicked the "fun" in the corner, died again and clicked Legendary one more time. This time there was a constant stream of like 50 of the enemy swarming across the screen. I couldn't even fly down into them to get a shot off, they were so dense. But I did find that if I clicked in the swarming mass of enemies that any click that landed on an enemy gave me 100 points for no good reason. And also, when I died, it was extremely difficult to click the "again" text through all of the baddies... but once I did, on the intro-screen to start the enemies were still swarming across the screen. So yeah... this is very, very buggy, and needs to be fixed, put in sound, more levels, power-ups, variety, etc.

A bit buggy, but a great game nonetheless

This has a great retro feel and is definitely funny. I thought the matryoshka holding a power-up item was an excellent touch.

Though my game didn't progress after beating Apollo. I was still able to walk around the ring, but the game just didn't do anything after Apollo exploded.

Pretty good.

It was a bit too easy. In the "columns" level, I just stood in front of the left spawning point and blasted away with my pistol, and behind me I just let the zombies pile up at the barrels that they couldn't walk past. Of course... that only worked until the game crashed my browser. Something about the file "Flash.ocx" as part of the Flash browser add-in causing a problem. And before you think it... I DO have a nice computer...

I couldn't find the cod in the exhibition room...

... in fact, I didn't see any fish in the entire game. Seriously though, the game wouldn't have been bad... there were just a lot of spelling errors, and no instructions on how to play. You were just kind of left to click your way around without any direction whatsoever. Not a bad idea, just needs a lot of work.

So now you see that evil will always triumph, because good... is dumb.
