Pretty cool, though kinda clunky.

The only thing that got to me were the character's animations and non-fluid movement style. And when you hit a spike you could just stand with it touching you and take damage. Otherwise it was pretty solid and you could tell a lot of time went into putting it all together. Good job.

Thanks, I'll try and address those issues for chapter 2.

Really good control and gameplay...

The game was pretty good, but there was a serious lack of depth. 33 caves being cleared as your first assignment is a very, VERY repetetive task. Especially since the same enemies are cycled over and over, with just their HP/Strength increasing. I played through 13 of them before I'd had enough because there was no story being developed... nothing outside of trading hits with enemies I had seen about 50 times already. I thought it odd that the island didn't have many different terrain types or landmarks visible on the map... and they have quite the geological probability-breaker there with an almost perfectly rectangular land-mass.

Like the old PC/NES Shadowgate...

I loved Shadowgate, so I liked this game. Inventive puzzles... maybe a little short, but as an online game I supose that's better than being too long. The only thing I felt could use some work was Freddy at the end. He was ultra-predictable... and he was a couple of screen-caps of Freddy with some bad vector art slapped around them. About as scary/thrilling as a 2-day-old, glazed doughnut.

Looks like a solid engine.

Cool game, with easy controls. My only beef is that just about no one takes a bullet to the face and just keeps firing his gun... which is what every enemy in the game seems to be able to do. There should have been a variable damage dealt with head-shots... although with the head on the characters being so big, headshots would be a dime a dozen in the game.

Great concept, excellently executed.

A very neat game centered around timing and reflexes. The little clip-board carrying scientist guys running around in the background are a stroke of genius.

Pretty cool concept. Too few enemies and options.

I was able to get to level 9 or so without touching the w,a,s, or d buttons by just tapping space-bar and clicking the mouse rapidly. I would eventually shoot each of the different enemies with the magic ball that did them in.

All in all a neat concept... needs more options and enemies, and maybe some direction or goal to fight toward to make it more than just a time-waster.

So simple, yet so fun.

Great premise. Simple, but effective graphics. Plus an anal probing contest... that's gotta be one of the funniest things I have ever seen in a Flash game.

Fantastic.

The art was in a great style. Cool bosses with cool abilities. Short enough to play and hold your attention enough to actual get somewhere in it. A great use of Flash elements fused to a game.

So now you see that evil will always triumph, because good... is dumb.
